This is another fun service project.
We support our sponsor, the IWLA, by setting up an easy geocaching course and taking people out to show them what geocaching is all about.
Other Scouts stay back to show kids how to make ice cream in baggies, which is always a huge hit. We can set up a coverage rotation so everyone gets a chance to take some time to explore and enjoy all the other activities at the open house -- free food, fishing, shotgun shooting, free food, black powder demonstration, booths, and food.
Scouts, please sign up for whatever portion of the day you are available. The more we have, the more "exploring" of other stations you will be able to do. Please sign up by Friday, September 17, so that we can plan appropriately. Please bring a bottle of water with you to the open house!
Permission slip will be due at the 9/23 troop meeting!
