A Golf Merit Badge is being offered to the Scouts on Friday, August 11, 2017. This is a great opportunity to learn about the game and learn how to play. Needwood Golf Course has a PGA instructor who is a Golf Merit Badge Counselor and has the entire program already running.
1. A one hour lesson w/Adam Fishman, PGA on the range for requirement #7
2. 45 mins to discuss answers 1-6 in the workbook
3. Depending on time, one or two 9-hole rounds on the Executive Course to finish requirement #8.
If the kids are experienced and have played 9 holes before then they would only need one 9 hole round to sign the blue card so it would shorten the day from 6 hours to 4 hours.
