Fall Backpacking Extravaganza!

Take a hike!

Important: We will need drivers on Sunday 11/11/18 around 11am to meet us at Washington Monument State Park, 6620 Zittlestown Rd Middletown MD 21769 (39.4989656355905 -77.6234945495519), as adults camping will be leaving vehicles at the starting point. 

Itinerary:

• Friday 11/9/18 
• • 5:00pm: Meet at IWLAR Chapter House
  • 5:30pm: Leave IWLAR to 11361-11421 Wolfsville Rd, Smithsburg, MD 21783 (60 minute drive from IWLA). 
  • Starting at Wolfsville Rd. Parking for AT, we will hike 1/8 mile to AT Shelter/camping.
    
• Saturday 11/10/18
• • 8-mile hike to Pine Knob AT shelter (39.542479117 -77.60212079)
• Sunday 11/11/18
• • 4-mile hike to Washington Monument State Park (39.4989656355905 -77.6234945495519)
