Philmont Hike @Sugarloaf Mountain: west view parking lot

This is a mandatory hike for those Scouts going to Philmont next year.

8:30 am: Meet at the West View Parking Lot.

Bring your frame pack loaded with 30 pounds, including water.

Bring clothing appropriate for the weather, and wear the boots you plan to take to Philmont.

Directions to Sugarloaf Mountain West View Parking Lot: We will meet in the West View Parking Lot.

Take Route 28 West of Rockville to Dickerson, then after passing under the railroad bridge, turn right on Mt. Ephraim Road and go 2.5 miles to Sugarloaf Mountain entrance. Go through the Gated Entrance and drive to the West View parking lot.
